October 2026 at Metcos: American Zircon, Anti-Tarnish and Wedding Season Timing

October is when wedding season planning starts in earnest, and the studio in Lahore is already working through orders for November and December functions. This month brings a new American zircon collection, an anti-tarnish coat on every active piece, and seven more buyer guides behind the shop. Here is what is new, and what to settle now if you have a date in mind.
A new American Zircon collection
Most of what we make is set with American zircon, so it now has a collection of its own. The American Zircon Jewellery collection brings together 71 designs across studs, rings, earrings, pendant sets and bangles, from Rs. 2,850 upwards.
American zircon, also called American diamond or AD, is top-grade cubic zirconia: a lab-grown crystal cut like a diamond. It is the closest-looking diamond alternative at an everyday price, and the same class of stone fine jewelers set in gold and silver when they want a diamond's look. Anti-tarnish on every piece
All 83 designs in the current range now carry an anti-tarnish coat over the 24K gold plating, applied in the studio before each piece is boxed. It is a clear protective layer that slows the reaction with sweat, perfume and humid air, which matters more in Pakistan than almost anywhere. Sixteen guides, and seven of them new
In September we had nine guides. There are now sixteen, all answering questions customers send us on WhatsApp. The new ones cover:

Ordering for a November or December function
Pieces are made to order, so timing is the one thing worth planning. Allow 10 to 12 working days for dispatch, plus courier transit. For a function in the second half of November, ordering by the end of October leaves comfortable room.
